Mr. T.K Sundaresan, Our Managing Director commenced his professional career in 1982 as a trader and transporter of wood logs for the state owned Travancore Sugars Ltd. Subsequently he was associated in business with The Plantation Corporation of Kerala Ltd., and Harrison Malayalam Plantation Ltd. During the same period he expanded his business horizon as a forest contractor, delivering Eucalyptus woods to M/s Hindustan Newsprint Ltd., for manufacture of paper.As a forest contractor he had successful involvement in various projects taken up by the state forest and wildlife department. It was in the latter half of 1990 that he shifted his affinity from wood and forest to the construction industry, which marked the major turning point of his business career. Throughout the construction process, he worked hard to keep construction expenses as low as possible. As a result, in 2004, he incorporated the company Darshan Granites Pvt Ltd., a crusher facility in the district of Pathanamthitta, so that he could sell the materials as well as finish his project's cost effectively. By providing high quality goods and professional services, the company has grown to become one of South Kerala's leading aggregate and allied products manufacturers. In 2010, the business vision and determination of our M.D, Mr. T.K Sundaresan paved the way for the takeover and revival of Punalur Paper Mills Ltd.,the first joint stock company of Kerala. At a time, the mill had an employment strength of more than 1500 people directly and the same number indirectly for procurement of raw materials from the nearby forests. The mill established in 1888 by the Britisher Mr. Cameroon stands today as the oldest Paper Mill of our Country.

Darshan Granites began operations in 2004 with the goal of providing high-quality aggregates and services. After years of contract work experience, T.K Sundaresan, our Managing Director, started a crusher unit in Koodal with a strong aim to become one of the largest manufacturers in south kerala. By providing high-quality services and supplies, we have attained our goal and developed to become one of Kerala's leading aggregates manufacturers. Our crushing plant is outfitted with the most up-to-date machines capable of producing any aggregates in a short amount of time.
